The brave owl peeps over the bark ABERDEEN, SCOTLAND HILARIOUS IMAGES show an owl perfectly camouflaged in a hole in a tree.  Images show the owl resting in a tree hole and its colours perfectly blend into the bark of the tree making it almost impossible to spot.  These images were captured by offshore oil and gas tank cleaner Mark Deans (37) from Aberdeen Scotland.  Mark captured the camouflage owl in Aberdeen, Scotland on his Canon EOS D1 mark three with a sigma 150-600mm contemporary.  “I’ve been taking pictures of this owl for a year now and was just getting it peeking out of its house and no more,” said Mark. “This is a typical sight for me because I know what to look for but hundreds of people walk past them every day. “I don’t have a favourite shot, I like all of them just looks like a knot in the tree is properly camouflaged in the wildlife environment. “These owls have become a favourite of mine over the last year. They had two chicks last year, which I was privileged to find in the trees above. “At the current moment, there are two owls in that particular tree, which I’m hoping for chicks this year.  “I think I love capturing wildlife moments like this is pretty unique in a city centre where busy people walk past every day no one pays attention except them on their phones.  “I’ve had countless people ask me where it is and I’ve just said int the city centre, but these owls are pretty well hidden as you can see by the colour of the owl colour of the tree.” ENDS
