These mischievous squirrels are partners in crime as they raid bird feeders for an easy snack, but one seemed pushier than the other. The pair were spotted stealing seeds in a garden in Medford, Wisconsin, USA before one pushed the other off the feeder. Cheryl Plautz, 66, said, ÒI often see this pair in my garden - they are buddies and are like partners in crime when it comes to raiding bird feeders.Ó ÒThey like to climb or jump onto the feeders which are hanging from a tree. When they were on the feeder together the black squirrel was suddenly pushed off into the snow by its friend - I think the grey squirrel was being greedy and wanted the feeder all for himself!Ó Please byline: Cheryl Plautz/Solent News © Cheryl Plautz/Solent News & Photo Agency UK +44 (0) 2380 458800 *** Local Caption *** Here are the photos I have related to these two squirrels. They are buddies and are like partners in crime when it comes to raiding the bird feeders. They like to climb or jump onto the feeders. In this situation the black squirrel was on the feeder alone. The grey likes to climb down onto the feeder. When they were on the platform feeder together, the black squirrel was suddenly pushed off. I think the grey was being greedy and wanted to claim the feeder for himself. The grey squirrel when jumping off to catch the tree fell into the snow. Taken 17th January 2024 in her garden in Medford Wisconsin.
