Beautiful Swan reflected
SURREY INCREDIBLE images show a mute swan admiring its reflection in the waters of Tice's Meadow Nature Reserve, Surrey.
The mute swan is one of the most iconic and best-loved birds in the UK.
Its long, curved neck and graceful glide are a gorgeous sight on the waterways and waterbodies.
These swans usually mate for life, but some will have numerous partners.
Sixty-two-year-old freelance photographer Jon Hawkins from Surrey took these beautiful images of this graceful creature.
“I waited for an hour or two to capture the swans and their reflections,” he said.
“I adjusted the exposure on my Canon R5 camera in the bright sunshine to darken the background so that the white swan would look striking.
“I was so pleased with its graceful poses, and swans are so incredibly photogenic.”
