Story from Jam Press (Mini Lambo)
Pictured: A video grab of the mini Lamborghini Countach LP400.
A Lamborghini Countach is for sale for just £14,835…but there is a catch.
The car on offer is just a very detailed toy.
It has been painstakingly hand-built, taking over 400 hours to complete.
The wheels don't move but the doors and bonnet open meaning it is just for display.
Available in yellow or red, they are just 50cm (20 inches) long.
It is a lot cheaper than the real thing.
They are still worth £1.1million as vintage sports cars.
The classic 80s supercar boasts a top speed of 221mph and a 0-60mph of 2.8 seconds.
Famous owners include music legend Rod Stewart.
The tiny version of the Countach LP400 is a 1:8 scale model.
Just 199 of them have been made by Amalgam Collection, based in Bristol.
It has also made mini versions of the new Lamborghini Revuelto
It is the Italian supercar brand’s new hybrid, plug in model.
The real thing, like Countach, has a V12, 6.5 litre engine.
It can go 217mph and has a 0-60mph of just 2.5 seconds.
They went on sale last year costing £485,000.
But the miniature model versions cost £12,185 or £17,425 for a bespoke tailor made model.
Sandy Copeman, founder of Amalgam Collection, said: “The Countach LP400 and the Revuelto are both extremely special cars.
“Demonstrating the very best of Lamborghini’s spectacular design and equally extraordinary engineering.
“At Amalgam, we take great pride in our commitment to craftsmanship and attention to detail.
“And we are delighted to continue our longstanding partnership with Automobili Lamborghini to bring these iconic vehicles to life as perfect large-scale models.”
