Woman creates homemade 'BOTOX' for under £4 with ONE ingredient A woman has gone viral after making what she claims is homemade “Botox” – using just one ingredient. Lisa Baisl, 30, a digital creator and beauty influencer, spotted a hack online for creating a face mask using flaxseeds – which claims to act as an alternative to the toxin injection. The face mask requires is also fairly cheap – it cost her just £3.95 ($5). A bargain, in comparison to the real deal. Incredibly, she claims the simple skincare worked wonders, and Lisa shared the results on Instagram, where the post has gone viral with nearly four million views. “I have applied the mask continuously for almost two months, about 2-3 times a week – I noticed less redness on my face, and my skin looks more dewy and glowing,” Lisa, from New York, told WhatsTheJam.com. As well as being budget-friendly, creating the mask is simple. In the video, Lisa boils some flaxseeds in a pan of water and waits for the mix to thicken before squeezing it through a cheesecloth and spreading the liquid over her face. She said: “The mask should be applied multiple times for best results, but even after one application, you will notice an immediate glow. “The face mask has tons of fatty acids, which make your skin glow, increase hydration and it’s anti-inflammatory. “When you wear the mask for about 20 minutes, the consistency does get rigid and stiff, which makes it hard to keep your facial muscles from contracting, similar to what Botox does. “However, the face mask should only be applied for about 30 minutes, so the ‘freezing muscles effect’ is not comparable to Botox, as it lasts only a short time. “It does not work like Botox to prevent muscles from contracting, as it is a long-term solution lasting about six months.” The self-proclaimed ‘skinfluen
