This is the moment a large pelican caught its latest meal, an unsuspecting trout. The moment was spotted by Jiahong Zeng at a lake in California, USA. He said, “Several pelicans frequent this lake and can often be seen hunting for fish. My photographic friends and I were set up our 600 lens waiting in the lake side as we knew Pelican usually hunt fish in the morning Can you give us an insight into the moments leading up to this as well as directly after? There were several pelicans on the lake and one caught a big Trout. The pelican tossed the fish and ate it. How were you able to capture these images?
