Birds surround boats of tourists here to witness the spectacle of the thousands of birds in this area. Thousands of birds come to the backs of Yamuna Ghat, New Delhi, India at this time of year. Azim Khan Ronnie, 36, said, "Seagulls, are amongst those at Delhi's Yamuna ghats. The ghat is named 'Nigambodh Ghat' and serves as a Hindu cremation ground. The Nigambodh Ghat on the banks of Yamuna River in Delhi is home to Siberian seagulls who migrate from the harsh winters of Siberia and rest on the banks of the river." "These boats are for tourists who come here to watch and feed birds. It's common to see the birds here this time of year, but with my drone, I'm able to show the vast numbers of them while looking down on them from a height." "Thousands of seagulls flock here at sunrise as dawn is when the seagulls come to feed. My favourite thing about the shots is the birds feeding from tourists' hands." "There are mainly two ways locals here earn money and that's by giving boat tours to visitors and by selling the bird food to the people who come to feed them. Surprisingly, the food the gulls love the best is a fried Indian snack called “Namkeen”. A boat with a few large packets of Namkeen will in the river with shouts of "Come, Come!" and the gulls come rushing from all directions."
