Photo: Marek Ciak/East News Aerial view of the construction site of the new railway bridge across Oder river between Poland and Germany on March 17, 2023 in Kostrzyn, Poland. The bridge spanning 130 metres and linking Polish town of Kostrzyn and German village Kustrin-Kietz is one of the longest bridges made using carbon fibre. The construction uses carbon fibre reinforced polymer strap hangers, which reduce the weight of the bridge and enhance its durability. The crossing is supposed to be completed in 2023.
