Flooding around St Ives in Cambridgeshire on Saturday morning after the River Great Ouse burst its banks overnight after the recent heavy rain and the melting snow caused the excess water to flood the area.The Environment Agency has issued 56 flood alerts and 2 flood warnings. Saturday will see cloud and outbreaks of rain and hill snow in the southwest moving slowly northeast and there will be more snow showers in the north.There will be more rain in the northeast on Sunday and Monday, which may turn to snow in northern Scotland. Some heavy rain in the west is likely, before clearer and colder weather returns on Tuesday.
