Pope Francis presided over the canonization mass of now-Saints Italian Bishop Giovanni Battista Scalabrini and Italian Salesian Brother Artemide Zatti in Saint Peter’s Square, Vatican on October 9, 2022. Both dedicated their lives to a Church that was inclusive and without barriers, as Saint Scalabrini (1839-1905) cared a great deal for migrants and Saint Zatti (1880-1951)cared greatly for the sick.
