Bill Cunningham. The 2013 New York SantaCon held on Saturday December 14, 2013. Participants dressed up in Santa Claus costumes and barhop with donations going to New York City charities. Other participants dressed up in holiday themed costumes such as Christmas trees, elves, presents, abominable snowman, etc. After some local residents and businesses complained about past participants being intoxicated and behaving badly, this year's participants were urged to be more respectful during the day-long event.
