Ferrari Press Agency Ref 4516 Miami 1 17/4/12 See Ferrari text Stunning blonde US reality TV star Joanna Krupa looks an angel ??" as she urges animal lovers to adopt a pet instead of buying one. Dancing with the Stars beauty Joanna, who appears in The Real Housewives of Miami , is the star of animal welfare organization PETA???s "Be an Angel for Animals" ad campaign . In the ad, Krupa appears as an angel holding a rescued dog beside the words "Save a life by adopting from an animal shelter." According to PETA, every time an animal is bought from a breeder or a pet store, a homeless animal in an animal shelter or roaming the streets loses a chance at finding a good home. Each year in the USA alone, 6 to 8 million unwanted dogs and cats are turned over to animal shelters, and half of them are put down because there aren't enough good homes. Joanna said:???"We're spreading the word that breeding your dog or cat isn't the way to go. "Somebody needs to put their foot down and stop this breeding and these hideous puppy mills. ??sDogs are in these little tiny cages for life. It makes me so angry, and if our government doesn't do anything about it, I have to!" ?? A PETA spokesman said:??? ??The answer to the animal overpopulation crisis is always to spay and neuter dogs and cats??"and always to adopt from animal shelters and never patronize pet stores or breeders..??? PHOTO: SPLASH NEWS/EAST NEWS Supermodel, Joanna Krupa complained a chilly TV studio was putting her "girls on high alert" as she appeared on a US chat show. The Playboy covergirl got straight to the point after she was introduced as a guest by host George Lopez. She told the comic: "I have a quick question. Why did you make the stage so cold? My girls are on high alert." Comic Lopez quipped: "You know why - so your girls can be on high alert." Polish-born Joanna, who recently appeared on hit US show 'Dancing with the Stars', also unveiled her sexy new advert for animal rights campaigners, PETA. The ad features Joanna as an apparently naked angel with only a cross to cover her modesty. An international cover model, actress, and spokesperson for Dollhouse Clothing, sexy supermodel Joanna Krupa is known for her famous photo shoots, but there's one thing Joanna would never model: fur. The Polish-born beauty, who has graced the covers of many magazines - including Playboy, Maxim, FHM, and Stuff - laid her convictions bare, so to speak, by baring her all in PETA's latest and raciest "I'd Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur" ad. And to top it off, she posed in not one, but three versions of the sexy ad! Having been named by Playboy as the "sexiest swimsuit model in the world", Joanna knows a thing or two about sex appeal - and fur doesn't have it. On fur farms in China, where most fur originates; minks, foxes, rabbits, and other animals are kept in tiny wire cages through all weather extremes. They are strangled, bludgeoned, and often skinned while they are still alive. Since fur is often deliberately mislabeled, if you wear fur, there is no way to tell whose skin you're in - it could even be cat or dog fur. "There is nothing sexy about wearing something that is so obviously tied to senseless pain and killing," says Joanna.
